I went to an awesome fest this weekend and reconnected with a friend. I have also been busy with school. I am trying to make some time for something creative.

i was practicing mixing colors today. some things are the same as real paints, some things are different. this looked kind of cool so i posted it.

I am still ironing out the concept but what is wrong with some old fashioned hit the ground running effort?

a painting a day

I have a paint program that came with my digitizing tablet that i never use. I get frustrated because I only have one monitor and an integrated video card. My current setup leaves me with a cramped workspace and only enough area make small little images.

However i stumbled across this neat little painting a day project somebody is doing (or stopped doing). these are tiny little paintings and by themselves they are not so impressive, but wen you add them all up and look at all of them they are pretty neat. so i am going to do the same thing.

I have been trying to paint more often because i have a day every week when i can do what ever i want but the weather has been shitty and sometimes it seems to be too cumbersome to haul out the water colors and mix them and find a nice place and everything besides the fact that i think it would be better to create something every day.

so i guess wish me luck!

I am going to send this to one of my friends who misses the beach! sitting at the beach and making water colors is pretty chill.

amazing view

it was such a bright day, there is an ocean in that big bright spot. i was lucky to get a glimpse of such an amazing sight.
